Ask your City or Town to Participate

Participation in Rapid Renewal is open to all municipalities, but is voluntary. Since Rapid Renewal includes municipal government, through the assessment and collection of municipal vehicle excise taxes, we are only able to offer the service to citizens residing in municipalities that choose to participate. The Department of the Secretary of State encourages municipal participation, but cannot compel any municipality to participate.

If your municipality does not participate in this online service and you would like to express interest as a citizen, please complete the following form. Your submission will be sent to InforME and shared with your municipal officials on a quarterly basis. Please feel free to contact your municipality directly to express interest as well.
