  • Getting Listed in the MaineDOT Utility Database
    • Utilities
      • All public utilities recognized by the Maine Public Utilities Commission (MainePUC) may locate utility facilities within the highway right-of-way (Maine Revised Statute Title 35-A, Chapter 23, Part 2)
      • For a utility to locate facilities within the highway right-of-way under jurisdiction of the MaineDOT, the utility must apply for a Location Permit and be listed in the MaineDOT Utility Database
      • To be listed in the MaineDOT Utility Database, please download the form below onto your computer, using "Save As." 
      • Please note that there are two forms to complete, one for the new utility company information and one for individual utility personnel contact information.
      • For new utility personnel in an existing utility company, only the utility personnel contact information form is needed.
    • Cities and Towns
      • Municipalities having authority to locate utility facilities within the highway right-of-way under jurisdiction of the MaineDOT must apply for a Location Permit and be listed in the MaineDOT Utility Database
      • To be listed in the MaineDOT Utility Database, please download the form below onto your computer, using "Save As." 
      • Once completed, please email your completed spreadsheet to Derrick Carleton
