This index file provides a reference for major lidar collections in Maine that make up Maine's seamless 2m DEM. The purpose is to allow users to understand which portions of the mosaic were part of each project, and the ability to determine the date, quality, and available products for each area.
This index file was created by the Maine Office of GIS. It is a composite of various other flightline or project extent shapefiles provided by the lidar vendors for each of the projects included herein. Boundary lines between collection dates within a project were conferred by flightline data and from the lidar data DEMs (hillshade) themselves.

Monday through Friday
Internal feature number.
Esri
The year of the lidar collection
MEGIS
The precise data of lidar collection. In some cases the date is not known and is given with zeros. For example 20060000 means the year 2006 is known but not the date. 20061100 means the year and month are known (Nov 2006) but not the precise date.
MEGIS
The source of the data. PSI = PhotoScience International LEGEO = Leading Edge Geomatics (Canada) SANBORN = Sanborn Mapping Co. WOOLPERT = Woolpert Inc.
MEGIS
Nominal point spacing in meters
MEGIS
Root mean square error for z-values, in centimeters
MEGIS
Boolean flag indicating whether classified LAS files are available. 1=Yes 0=No
MEGIS
Boolean flag indicating whether classified bare-earth DEM files are available. 1=Yes 0=No
MEGIS
Boolean flag indicating whether raw, unclassified LAS files are available. 1=Yes 0=No
