Traffic Sensor Work on I-295 in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK - The Maine Department of Transportation is performing work on traffic count sensors on I-295 in Brunswick. These sensors allow MaineDOT to accurately count the number of vehicles using this highway throughout the year. This work involves lane closures on I-295 0.6 miles north of the overpass to Route 1. Lane closures are happening on weekday nights between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. We expect this work will be finished by the end of next week.
