Maine CSTA is a regional chapter of the national Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). The mission of the Maine chapter is to further the mission of the CSTA and to provide a professional learning community for teachers of computer science in all grades K-graduate school in Maine. As a chapter, CSTAME believes all Maine students should have access to the computational thinking skills computer science education develops. These skills empower Maine citizens to face the complex, open-ended problems of tomorrow.

The Maine Math & Science Alliance (MMSA) finds inspiring new ways to get people excited about science, technology, engineering and math today, so that our youth can become the innovators and workforce of tomorrow. MMSA supports educators to teach science, technology, engineering and math in more meaningful ways by developing professional development experiences for K-12 educators, conducting research and evaluation of STEM learning experiences, and building relationships and networks to sustain systemic statewide improvement.

The Maine Center for Research in STEM Education(RiSE Center) conducts research into education at all levels of instruction within the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (the STEM disciplines). We also work to integrate education research into STEM teaching and learning through our many programs, projects, and partnerships.
