This class is free for all attendees. Anyone who registers and is a "no show" for this days training will be billed $102 for the class material.
Books are ordered and mail once registration has ended

Leading Early Learning 2022-23

Intended For: School Administrators
Details:The Early Learning series will provide participants with opportunity to deepen their knowledge of early learning pedagogy and best practices related to supporting students and teachers across Pre-K-3, and it will also provide a professional learning network, opportunity to design a concept for an implementation project, and be supported through facilitated discussions. Participants will engage in a variety of modes of learning, from asynchronous modules to professional learning communities to attendance at a statewide early learning conference. The series kicks off on October 27, 2022 and will conclude on March 22, 2023.

New School Nurse Orientation is a program designed to help a nurse transition into the educational setting which is very different than the hospital, urgent care, or other medical settings. This event will be a combination of pre-recorded webinars and virtual meetings. It will take place August 22-24, with the three scheduled times. If you are unable to attend the scheduled meeting times, but would still like to participate, please register anyway and add a comment to your registration. Some of the topics included are: DOE credentialing requirements, school health regulations and requirements, medication administration policies in schools and screening requirements.

Details:*School Districts that are currently participating in or wish to participate in the CACFP After School Program do not have to attend. *
This training is mandatory prior to participation in the CACFP. We recommend that you plan to have both the person who will be responsible for administering the CACFP and the person who will be responsible for preparing meals and snacks attend the training.
Please note: due to the complexity of CACFP rules and regulations, you will be required to attend this Applicant Training again if you are unable to participate in the CACFP within 6 months of attending the training.
