With the first hints of autumn arriving across Maine, the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (DACF) is pleased to announce the official start of the 2026 foliage season, tracked and reported throughout the season by DACF Fall Foliage spokesperson Gale Ross.
