Investigate the wonders of our local forests while exploring Boothbay Region Land Trust's newest preserve during an informative walk with Maine Forest Service District Forester Jared Gregory. This walk will focus on tree identification, while branching into broader topics such as forest ecology, historical land use, silviculture, and wildlife habitat. Jareds flexible, conversational style invites questions and curiosity. This is a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of Midcoast Maines woodlands, learn practical tree ID tips, and explore one of our newest protected spaces.

This walk will be approximately 1 mile in length over uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring bottled water. Space is limited with registration required.
